Guests can register for activities at public events through the Membership Chair.

All members are expected to share responsibilities.

Activity details are published in the newsletter available to members on the website on/about the 20th of each month.

DINING GROUPS

Almost Gourmet: The hostess of the month plans and prepares the lunch with the assistance of three co-hostesses; limited to 11 full-time members; rotating waiting/sub list.

Meet And Eat: As our reservation list grows, so will the number of homes hosting dinner. Hosts provide an entree and beverages, and guests provide side dishes on a rotating basis.

Lunch Bunch: The hostess of the month plans and prepares the lunch with the assistance of co-hostesses.

Wine Tasting: The host/hostess purchases the wine and divides the cost by the number of tasters who pay their share at the wine tasting. Typically the group samples 8-10 wines. Guests bring a hearty appetizer to share and the host/hostess provides dessert.

TGIF: The hostess of the month plans the activity at their home and is open to all members.  Each guest brings an appetizer to share and their own drink of choice. 

**Dine Out: Open to all members and a restaurant is chosen that is unique

BOOK GROUPS

Book Review : Each member hosts the group once per year and provides luncheon and beverages. Limited membership. 

GAME GROUPS

Evening Bunco: 12 members; buy-in is $5.00 to the kitty to cover monetary prizes; winners are determined at the close of play for the evening; subs welcome. 

Bunco Mixed Nuts:  Bring sack lunch. Game play begins after lunch.   Buy-in is $5.00. 

Mexican Train Dominoes: drop-in group with no sign-ups or commitments; 10:30-4:00. bring a snack to share; round lasts about 20-30 minutes; come late-leave early-or stay for the day. 

**National Mah Jongg: open to all members that enjoy playing Mah Jongg, an interesting, ancient and challenging tile game. It is fun. 11:30 to 3:30

**Hand & Foot Card Game: open to all members that enjoy playing Hand and Foot, challenging and fun card games - 1:00 to 4:00

**Poker and Games: open to couples and singles; beginners are always welcome! buy-in is $3.00. The hostess provides snacks, dessert, and beverages.

ENTERTAINMENT GROUPS

Flora & Fauna: Floral, garden, related art shows, garden tours or lectures and demonstrations; meeting days may vary depending on the venue.

Social Activities: Various excursions of the greater Sacramento area.

Movie Monday:  Movie and lunch venue are selected by a member on a rotational basis.
