Guests can register for activities at public venues through the Membership Chair.
All members are expected to share responsibilities.
Activity details are published in the newsletter available to members on the website on/about the 20th of each month.
All activities require online registration.
Dining Groups
Almost Gourmet: The hostess of the month plans and prepares the lunch with the assistance of three co-hostesses; limited to 11 full-time members; rotating waiting/sub list.
Meet And Eat: As our reservation list grows, so will the number of homes hosting dinner. Hosts provide an entree and beverages, and guests provide side dishes on a rotating basis.
Lunch Bunch: The hostess of the month plans and prepares the lunch with the assistance of co-hostesses.
Wine Tasting: The host/hostess purchases the wine and divides the cost by the number of tasters who pay their share at the wine tasting. Typically the group samples 8-10 wines, one of which is a dessert wine and/or champagne. Guests bring a hearty appetizer to share and the host/hostess provides dessert.
TGIF: The hostess of the month plans the activity at their home and is open to all members. Each guest brings an appetizer to share and their own drink of choice.
Dine Out: Open to all members and restaurant is chosen that is unique and meets 2nd Saturday evening of the month
Book Groups
Book Worms is open to all new members. Each member hosts the group at least once a year, and provides a lite lunch, or whatever the hostess wishes to serve. The group is
Share A Book is open to all new members. The activity chair has the meetings at their home.
Game Groups
Flora & Fauna: Floral, garden, related art shows, garden tours or lectures and demonstrations; meeting days may vary depending on the venue.
Social Activities: Various and exciting excursions of the greater Sacramento area.
